Computer Science/Engineering (although I am currently in civil engineering research with a computer science focused role). I have been conducting research on analysis of pavement/asphalt binders with Dr. Michael Elwardany and other assistants from the colleges of Civil and Environmental engineering. My role began as optimization of calculation procedures for parameters related to load-displacement data of asphalt binders in a fracture strength test abbreviated as DENT. Since then I have refined the DENT project and am close to submitting for publication as a co-author, and I have also assisted Dr. Elwardany and assistants in FTIR imaging projects as well as temperature function modeling using programs written by myself in Python as-needed.
