Public opinion, political polarization, survey methodology, education policy, higher education. Grady Anderson has held two research assistantships this academic year. Working under Dr. Modi in the Department of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences, he has contributed to their project which seeks to examine the impact of political polarization on critical thinking skills of college students. He and Dr. Modi are currently planning their experimental design, and are expecting to start running the experiment in Fall 2024. Additionally, Grady has served as a research assistant in the Office of the Provost. In this role, he has contributed to the university's accreditation efforts. Specifically, he has contributed to the university's Quality Enhancement Plan, especially in the area of doctoral student success.
