Whitney plans to go to law school after undergraduate, and hopes to start a business one day. She wants to explore the different areas of law, and has interests in intellectual property and mass tort litigation.

Whitney is interested in researching the various areas of law and the interconnections between law and business. Whitney conducted research through the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, working under Professor Rima Nathan at the FSU College of Law on a project determining the legal needs of the low-income elderly population across Florida. The research seeks to fill a lack of recent information about the legal needs of this often underrepresented population and help determine where resources should be focused as well as if there are any barriers currently hindering the ease of access to the resources that already exist. She plans to continue this research through the summer and into the next year.
