Anna is currently working on a UROP Project with Dr. Yueyang Lu, investigating changes in sea levels and sea level anomaly (SLA). By gathering and analyzing satellite data and tide gauge data, Anna will work on quantifying the U.S. east coast sea level change (variability) at different time scales and identifying/understanding what physical processes impact the sea level change. Other research topics Anna is interested in include plant microbiology (which she studied at the Dangl Lab at UNC), sustainability, and reusable energy.
