Physician's Assistant
Danny was involved with Best Buddies, Special Olympics, Catholic Student Union, and UROP. These different experiences brought balance and fun to the school year for Danny and offered good insight into the community of FSU and the best way he could make a difference.

Danny is most interested in psychology and medicine. Within UROP, Danny worked under Dr. Matthew Mewhinney along with 2 other presidential scholars to analyze Japanese Literature and see its applications into invoking sympathy and empathy within readers. For Danny specifically, this was interesting because it gave him an opportunity to see how authors use psychology and how readers respond because of the applications it can have to bedside manner and dealing with individuals in weak vulnerable states within a hospital and other high stress settings.
