Stamps Scholars at Florida State University
Florida State University is a proud partner of the Stamps Scholars Program, providing the most generous scholarship in university history to five incoming first-year students annually. FSU Stamps Scholars are selected from the pool of admitted students in FSU's premier Presidential Scholars Program and represent a community of scholars with extraordinary potential to be transformational leaders.

They represent the very best of Florida State University, serving as ambassadors for the institution on both national and global stages.
FSU Stamps Scholars closely align with the core pillars of the Presidential Scholars Program while standing out as visionaries who take the initiative to drive meaningful change in society. They are expected to innovate in their fields, integrate various disciplinary perspectives and lead with motivation to create inspired visions for our future.

Application
Selection for the Stamps Scholarship is integrated into the application process for the Presidential Scholars Program, with high school seniors typically applying by Dec. 1 of the senior year.
Benefits
FSU Stamps Scholars receive the following awards and benefits:
- Funding valued up to the full estimated cost of attendance for up to four years, including an out-of-state tuition waiver for non-Florida residents.
- $20,000 in dedicated enrichment funding to support transformative educational opportunities, including internships; international learning experiences; research, creative and service-learning projects; public service and entrepreneurial development.
- Participation in the Presidential Scholars Program, including its specially designed four-year sequence of coursework, immersive first-year residential community, and engaged learning opportunities.
About the Stamps Scholars Program
The Stamps Scholars Program was founded in 2006 by E. Roe Stamps and his late wife, Penny, to enable extraordinary educational experiences for extraordinary students. What began at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Michigan has grown into a national network of more than 4,000 current scholars and alumni. The Stamps Scholars Program and partner schools like Florida State University share the costs of these awards to help talented student leaders achieve their ambitious goals.
