Marianne is interested in the intersection between psychedelics and the law, and how legal barriers can affect people's access to treatment. Marianne completed a research poster under the direction of her supervising faculty Dr. Mason Marks in the College of Law. Under his guidance, she researched the legal challenges of pursuing ibogaine-assisted psychedelic treatments for veterans. Marianne hopes to continue to evaluate the legal landscape facing psychedelics throughout her time at Florida State University.
